Welcome to the Portuguese Liquid Crystals Society

The Portuguese Liquid Crystals Society (SPCL) aims to bring together individuals and companies interested in promoting, at the national and international level, the improvement, development and progress of liquid crystalline systems, namely through,
– the organization of scientific and technical meetings,
– the dissemination of scientific results,
– the promotion of exchanges between specialists and similar liquid crystal societies involved in research and development in the field of liquid crystals.

International Liquid Crystal Conference

In response to the global pandemic caused by the new coronavirus, the Organizing Committee of the 28^th International Liquid Crystal Conference (ILCC) and the International Liquid Crystal Society (ILCS) have decided to postpone the 28th ILCC (ILCC2020) to 24^th to 29^th July 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal.
